In order to apply for a Canon character from the list, you'll need to copy the code for this form and paste it into a new thread in Character Files. Fill out all the information as if you are the character. The parts below the line should be answered as yourself, the player.

List your attack powers. You may start out with up to 8 attacks. You may pick the attacks and the cooldowns, but you should also describe the attack's range and basic information, because this will be where people look if they don't understand what you're describing.
Suggestions for Canons without Canon Attacks: Characters like Olette, Hayner, Sally, Cinderella and Belle will not have a canon attack list. In that case, you are allowed to be a little creative, but the attack list you create must be believable from a cannon perspective. For example, it's highly unlikely that Sally Finklestein knows any reflect or barrier spells; but it's possible she knows some basic black magic because of her home world. In these situations, I will not allow any higher than a mid-level attack on your roster. Sally, Cinderella, Belle, Aurora, etc are not commonly known as fighters, so it's unlikely they will start out with any serious attacks; but that's ok because we have LOTS of ways to improve them as time goes on. This is just the beginning; there's lots of possible growth to go.

Give your history; it needs to be a complete history with at least 3 paragraphs of information. Keep in mind some characters need a bit more than that to be complete and some characters will find it hard to get that much. Consider this a test of your knowledge and abilities with this character. I know some characters don't like talking about the past, but if they can't tell the Moogle, at least they can THINK about it, and we'll still be able to read it for completion. (That's my nice way of saying no slacking off.) [The Horned King will not accept slackers.]

We have staff members specifically picked to check for copy-pasting of profile information from wikia and other sources, so save us both the trouble and just do the profile yourself the first time.
