This is the template you will need if you have earned enough money to buy a new technique or ability. Fill it out and post it in the AP Slots Forum.
First you will have to determine if your new ability is an Upgrade or a New Ability. Upgrades cost a little less because you already know the attack, you're just making it powerful or more efficient.
Then, label the thread UPGRADE or NEW ABILITY, then a ":" sign and then the ability's name. This should be done under the account you want to upgrade and only after you have the munny for it.
Upgrades are going to be 100 munny per upgrade (this includes new keychains), meaning you can only upgrade once per 100 munny; new abilities will be 200 munny. There are pros and cons to Upgrading vs. buying a New Ability. If you Upgrade, you lose the previous version of an attack. For example, if you earned 100 munny and you had Blizzard with one post cooldown, you gain Blizzara, lose Blizzard, and now have a two post cooldown due to the power of the upgraded attack. So if all you have is upgrades and you enter a tournament, you may run out of options for attacks to use before your opponent and that might cause you to lose. Some attacks can only be acquired by OCs through Upgrading.
At the same time, if all you do is buy new abilities all the time, you'll have a roster full of attacks you never get to use, and all of them will be first tier. Not to mention you'll have to save a lot of munny every time you want to add a new technique to your roster. Sometimes it's important to a plotline to learn a new technique, but you should also keep in mind that munny can get you more than this.
Any munny you spend on new attacks will not be able to be used on items such as Potions, which equal the negate of one medium level (2 post cooldown) attack, or Ethers which cut the cooldown for an attack by one post. If you want to know more about items, visit the Item Shop.
