U-uh, Excuse me, kupo? What's your name, kupo?
The mouse woman turned and smiled gently down at the red and white creature. “Hello, there. I'm Queen Minnie Mouse. Nice to meet you.”
Is that what everyone calls you, kupo?
“Not at all. I prefer to be called Minnie.” She giggled softly, folding her hands before her, giving the Moogle her full attention.
That's a great name for a girl, kupo! You... are a girl, aren't you, kupo?
Minnie tilted her head and blinked in confusion before standing straight and nodding with a humble smile. “It is a nice name for a girl, isn't it? Thank you for the compliment.” The moogle's eyes widened as he realized what he'd implied to the royal mouse.
O-of course! I was just... messing around, kupo! Ahem. Anyway, kupo. Uh. How old are you, kupo?
Her majesty found herself giggling again. “I'm afraid that's not a question a lady is at liberty to answer, Mr. Moogle.” The mouse was obviously an adult, but her eyes showed no flaw from her age; she could have been anywhere from twenty to forty.
Really? Everyone lately seems to be strange, kupo... so... no offense...but what species are you, kupo?
The lady mouse paused for a moment to think, her hand coming up to gently curve a finger under her lower lip. “Well... I guess you would just call me a mouse... though in many worlds, I don't seem anything like the typical mouse.” She didn't know how else to explain herself. After all, her last name WAS Mouse.
I knew that... It's just this light in here, kupo... my eyes can't focus... what do you look like, kupo?
Minnie turned around slowly and let him see her properly. “There's not much to see, sir. Just your typical Mouse Queen in a crown and gown.”
I-interesting...Which world is your home, kupo?
“My home is Disney Castle. But sometimes it's called Disney Town, too. It's very bright and colorful, like it's people, and it's one of the safest worlds in the night sky.”
I see... That's an interesting looking weapon, kupo. What do you call it, kupo?
She chuckled. “I don't use any weapon... just my magic.” What a strange moogle... luckily her majesty was familiar with being interviewed, even if she'd never been questioned quite like this. However, it wasn't unusual now-a-days to see world travelers... and obviously they would have questions. As a Queen, it was her duty to answer.
Cool! Do you know any attacks, kupo?

That's not bad, kupo..! Can you tell me anything about your past, kupo?
Minnie thought carefully before answering, taking a deep breath as she began to tell her tale.
"Back when King Mickey was away training to be a Keyblade Master, I was back home taking care of their world, eagerly awaiting his return. During this time, I hosted the annual festival called The Dream Festival. It was an unusual year because never before or sense had Unversed attacked. Pete had stirred up so much trouble during the festival trying to win the Million Dreams Award that I had finally had to put my foot down and banish him for his selfishness. Unfortunately, I wouldn't know until later that it hadn't really done much good because Maleficent had freed him early on. The year will also stand out in my memory as the first and only year that we had ever had a three way tie for the coveted Million Dreams award. Those nice Keybladers had helped so much with the Unversed that everyone in town voted for someone different. I haven't seen them since." Her voice froze as she remembered the next part of her tale, uncertain if she should give this stranger all the details or not.
Ten years later, the King disappeared suddenly. Queen Minnie had looked about the castle for him with her best friend, Daisy Duck, in tow when they happened upon Donald telling Goofy not to tell the Queen about the top secret letter he'd gotten from the King. Caught red handed, Donald had no choice but to share the secret letter with Queen Minnie. Upon hearing that King Mickey was going to investigate the stars blinking out one by one, she told them they would just have to trust the King. Donald offered to go and find the King and the Key that the King had told them to find. Queen Minnie thanked them, knowing that at the time, she would be unable to help him. Besides, she needed to be there to help protect the Cornerstone of Light and the Castle and, most importantly, it's denizens.
It's possible that Minnie's habit of searching books and tomes of wisdom might have been what inspired her to send Jiminy Cricket as Royal Chronicler to accompany Donald and Goofy; in the case that their adventures might reveal important information later on.
Who would have thought that a year later she would still be ruling all alone waiting for the King to return for good? Taking care of the world with all her heart, Minnie found herself still awaiting everyone to return with smiling faces. However, thankfully, she had begun receiving letters from Mickey, telling her about Heartless and his adventures, so she was not out of touch. The King had also sent word of Sora, Donald and Goofy's travels, so she had no reason to worry of their safety.
Upon checking the hidden Hall of the Cornerstone, Minnie was very surprised to find that it had been overrun with dark thorns that seemed to be reaching out for the Cornerstone itself. Immediately Minnie went to check the library and went through all the records, but could find nothing that would clue her in to what was happening... or how to stop it. Distressed, Minnie called out for help from the Captain of the Royal Knights and the Court Magician, who returned home quickly, bringing Sora with them. Sending Donald and Goofy to warn everyone in the Castle to hide, Her Majesty guided Sora down to the Cornerstone. When they arrived, they were met with a ghostly appearance. Maleficent made her plans known that she intended to claim Disney Castle as her own.
Minnie revealed her worries about the fact that she had no idea what to do about this because nothing like it had ever happened before. Then, Goofy suggested that they contact Merlin to get his take on the situation. Minnie agreed that it was a good idea and so off the three heroes went to consult the aged wizard. Upon hearing the story, or what he could make out through Donald's rushed urgency, Merlin transported all of them right back next to the Queen in the Cornerstone Hall. Then the wise wizard showed the group a door that was very special and gave Sora and company a few special directions on how to stop what was happening before sending them in. Once more, Minnie was left simply waiting for the outcome of the fight.
She didn't have to wait long, however. In a flash of light, the hall was thorn free and things were back to normal. Queen Minnie continued to protect the Castle, and it is one of the safest place among the worlds; no more Heartless were seen there. Well, at least for a long time.
After Xemnas was defeated, the King returned home for a short time and Minnie welcomed him affectionately, having missed him terribly while he was gone. And yet, Minnie knew that the troubles were not completely over yet...
"I'm afraid... I can't reveal much more than that. I might put someone in danger, you understand. I wouldn't be able to stand it if that happened."
Hmm... well, could you tell me what kind of person you are, kupo?
"I am very unlike what you would normally expect from someone with the title of “Queen.” I have been called humble and I believe that I and my subjects are equal, even though sometimes I gets treated differently because of my title. I have even asked not to be referred to by the title at least once, showing that the title itself means very little to me. It can also be said that I am very patient and can put up with a lot before finally putting my foot down. I also acknowledge that, even though I'm not particularly proud of my title, it comes with responsibilities and I don't shirk them.
I am prone to worrying about my friends and those dear to me when I know there is trouble. This shows how deeply I care about them. When I am worried and seek an answer to a problem, I'm known to consult my library of texts as well as my best friend and adviser, Daisy Duck. Having been left as the sole ruler of Disney Castle, I have tried to assume a more regal tone. It's obvious I miss Mickey and feel a little lonely ruling by myself, but I carry on like a strong ruler, protecting my friends and waiting the day when the fighting is finally over."
...Oh, kupo... Then... what side do you fight for, kupo?[/color][/b]
Minnie held a hand over her heart as she explained. “I, like the King, fight for the World Order and the balance that keeps us all safe. I suppose you would call me Light aligned.”
I don't mean to seem like I'm prying, but what dreams and aspirations do you have, kupo?
Her Majesty smiled slightly at the idea that perhaps the Moogle would be prying into her privacy. Unfortunately, when you are Queen, and even Princess, you get used to having very little privacy and being rained on with questions, not always of the most amiable sort. "My dream... my dream is that all the worlds will be returned to order and that they will be once again right... That everyone will be able to return to their homes and loved ones... even mine..." She whispered, her clam serene mask slipping for a moment as she gently laced her fingers together, feeling the ring with the royal symbol on her right hand. "...Soon..." She whispered as she thought of her beloved and his long absences.
Ah, that makes sense, kupo... sorta... well, what do you like, kupo?
Minnie's eyes immediately returned to the Moogle as she put up her strong, happy face again. "I like my people and being able to help them. I also like strawberries, making sweets, the castle gardens and the color red." She gave her classic giggle that she was famous for. "Oh, and of course, bows. They're like my signature."
Me too! Then, what do you dislike, kupo?
The mouse put on a serious thinking face. This could be a potentially political question... it was important to be serious when answering it. "...Needless fighting and pain... And also, I dislike those who take advantage of the weakness of another, like the Heartless that take advantage of the darkness in someone's private heart."
I'll remember that... what's your weakness, kupo?
The Queen's face was perfectly neutral, not giving away anything as she whispered her answer, as if fearing to give away any emotion. "...My kingdom... and the responsibility of upholding it."
N-not that I'd ever attempt to use that against you or anything, kupo...! Er... next question! W-what is your strength, kupo?
Taking a small breath, she smiled again, serenely in her royal way. "The people here... my friends and our allies. They give me my greatest strength. As well as the King." She made careful steps around the Cornerstone. That was not public information, and should never be discussed with outsiders.
Ah... well I am afraid I must go, kupo. One last question before I do, kupo. How did you find your way here, kupo?
"Ah... Heehee! I seem to be the one in charge of this place... so I guess you could say I've always been here."
